StreamSend Deployment Checklists
- Required Information
- Customer Name
- Expected number of E-Mail messages that will be sent per month for this account. (this will probably affect the cost to our customer for their service)
- E-Mail address that will be associated with management of the customer's StreamSend access. This can be an existing customer E-Mail address but it cannot be an address that's used to manage any other StreamSend account.
- Will customer have access to the StreamSend interface or will GLM be managing all newsletters for the customer?
- Tasks
- Create E-Mail account that will be associated with the Customer Account (if necessary) and any desired "Reply-to:" addresses that might be used in E-Mails from the StreamSend system to recipients.
- Create new StreamSend Customer Account using the StreamSend Private Label Manager.
Create Account
- Go to http://comm.gaslightmedia.com/
- Log in using "streamsend@gaslightmedia.com" and the standard "Glm..." admin password.
- Click on "Private Label Manager" near the upper-right of the page.
- Click "Add Account" near the upper-right of the page.
- Enter the E-Mail address associated with management of the customer's StreamSend access in the "E-Mail:" field.
- Enter an appropriate password.
- Enter the customer Name in the "First Name" Field and the person managing the account for the customer in the "Last Name" field. If this will be a role account rather than a specific person, put "Role Account" in the "Last Name" field. (can also split the business name into the first and last name fields)
- Note the number of E-Mails (per month) showing as available under the "Quota:" input box. If there are not enough monthly E-Mails to accommodate the expected number of messages for this customer, then we will need to upgrade our service with StreamSend to increase the amount available. Otherwise, enter the expected number of E-Mails per month in the "Quota:" field and click Create.
